Black Bean Rice

Black Beans RiceIngredients

black beans ---1 cup
Ginger --garlic paste--1/2 tsp
Basmati rice---1 cup
Green chillies---4
Garam masala powder--1 tsp
Salt to taste
Butter --2tsp

For Seasoning
cloves, Cinnamon, Bay leaves

For Garnishing

Roasted Cashew
Coriander leaves

Soak rice for 10 min. Cook rice with 2 cups of water in a pressure cooker. In a pan add butter and season .Then add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste and saute till golden brown colour. add green chillies and boiled black beans. saute it .add 1 tsp of garam masala powder. now add the cooked rice, salt, and stir it ..Then cover a lid and cook it for 5 more minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves and cashew. serve hot with onion Raita.
