Aalu Raita - Potato Raita

aalu Raita

Ingredients:

Potatoes: 4 – 5 of medium size. Boiled and cut into small cubes.

Curd: 1 bowl

Mid size pieces of two Green chilies. Around 8 – 10 pieces

Ghee (Sajuk Tup): 1 table spoon       

Cumin seeds: ½ T-spoon

Sugar: ½ T-spoon

Finely grated ginger: ½ T-spoon

Peanut powder: 2 T-spoon

Chopped Coriander leaves: 2 T-spoons

Salt to taste

 

How to make:

In a small pan heat the ghee. When ghee is fairly hot, add cumin seed to it. When cumin seeds cracle, add chili pieces to it and switch off the stove.

Now in a bowl take the pieces of potatoes, peanut powder, ginger, salt and sugar. Add the ghee (Tadka) above in it. Mix it well. Now add curd and mix it will again. Sprinkle chopped coriander.
