Asparagus Koshimbir (Asparagus Salad)

This is a dish that can be made in few minutes and is served at room temperature. You can also use the same recipe for broccoli.

Ingredients :
1 bunch Chopped Asparagus spears
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds   
1 small, grated  green chilli   
2 medium cloves, grated Garlic
Black Pepper Powder as per taste
Salt as per taste
1½ tbsp Olive Oil      
½ tsp Lemon Juice            -   

How to Make :

In case of asparagus, you discard the bottom fourth of aparagus as it is tough and stringy.  Take the whole bunch together and cut off the ends to save time. Then you can chp the remaining asparagus.

Microwave the chopped asparagus for 90 seconds. Heat the olive oil in a pan. Add sesame seeds and allot sesame seeds to crackle. Add grated garlic, grated chillie in oil. Put the mixture over asparagus. Add lemon juice, salt and black pepper powder and mix well.

Let the asparagus marinate for 30 minutes and it is ready to serve.
