1/4 kg small sized bitter gourd
2 big onions
1 cup curd
small marble sized tamarind
2 dry red chilli
1/2 tsp chana dal
1/2 tsp roasted peanut
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp red chilli powder
Wash bitter gourd. and slit it.
Heat a pan ,Add bitter gourd,curd,salt,tamarind and 3 cups of water.
Cook it for about 15-20 minutes ,By then all the water gets evaporated.
Take another pan ,Add 2 laddle oil and fry the cooked bitter gourd pieces until they turn brown in color,keep it aside.
Heat a pan,Now add some oil, season with red chilli,chana dal,peanut ,mustard seeds,cumin seeds and fry until mustard seeds splutter.
Add curry leaves and fry for a minute.Add chopped onion and fry until it turns to light brown color.
Now add the fried bitter gourd pieces,Add a pinch of salt it is only for onion ,add red chilli powder and mix it well.turn off heat after a minute.Serve hot with rice.
