Mushroom FryIngredients
1cup sliced button mushrooms
1/4 cup diced capsicum
1/4 cup diced onions
1/4 cup diced tomato
2 dry red chilies
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
2 tbsp oil
1/4 tsp fennel seeds
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1″ cinnamon stick
a few curry leaves
 Salt to taste


In a  pan, heat 1/2 tbsp oil and add the sliced mushrooms. Sprinkle some salt on the mushrooms and saute on high heat till the excess moisture is dried up. Remove the mushrooms from the pan and keep aside.

In the same pan, add 1 tbsp oil and add the cinnamon, fennel, cumin and dry chillies. Saute till the spices start to brown. Reduce the heat and add the red chilli powder. Keep stirring till the mixture turns brown,

Add the onions ,capsicum,tomato and curry leaves to the pan, and stir well to combine, and stir fry till the onions are soft. Add the mushrooms and mix well and stir fry till the ingredients are well combined.

Serve hot with rice.
