The Memphis Marathi Mandal celebrated the Sankranthi on Jan 23. Vanashree Deo facilitated the session and gave the inaugural address. It was followed by very important budget information by Kumtha Kaka. The cultural program began with a beautiful recital of Sanskrit Shloka by Avani Garde. It was followed by a keyboard recital of Savarkar's song by Param Deo. This was followed by some melodious songs by Sayalee Gawande, Prabhatai Vadhavkar and Lata Surpuriya. Anagha Atgur read some poetry and Arun Wagh recited a poem written by his mother.
